1. Who is responsible
Wrong Bear is the indie game brand operated by Ganguly & Co, a company based in Austin, Texas, United States. Ganguly & Co is responsible for personal data handled for our website, player support and game services where we determine how that information is used. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ganguly & Co.

Privacy contact: contact@wrongbear.com.
This policy covers wrongbear.com, support correspondence and Space Safari. Space Safari is currently in development; the purchase sections describe its planned mobile store release. Purchases are not offered on this website. Loopshire is presented here as a project; its released game will have an appropriate privacy notice before launch.
2. Space Safari and local saves
Space Safari is designed without advertisements, player accounts, social sign-in, behavioural analytics or a dedicated cloud crash-reporting service. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
The game stores progress, preferences and the status of the full-campaign unlock on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your save files. Your device or platform may include app data in its own backups, according to your settings.
You do not need to provide your name, email address or a profile to play. The game does not request your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. Purchasing paid content involves the store and Unity IAP as explained below.
3. In-app purchases and Unity
Space Safari is made with Unity and uses Unity In-App Purchasing (IAP) to connect to Google Play or the Apple App Store. The planned purchase is a one-time, non-consumable full-campaign unlock, not a subscription.
The store processes your payment and maintains the purchase against your store account. The game receives purchase information, such as a product identifier, transaction identifier or token, receipt and entitlement status, to verify, deliver and restore the unlock. We do not receive your full card number, bank details or store password.
When purchasing features are enabled, the current Unity IAP integration also sends purchase-related events and technical information to Unity for purchasing operations, transaction reporting and service reliability. This can include transaction details, installation or vendor identifiers, session identifiers, device and operating-system information, and country or region. Player identifiers may also be processed when a Unity service supplies them. We do not enable optional advertising integrations or use purchase data for advertising.
Where Unity handles information on our behalf, you can send access or deletion requests to us and we will coordinate them with Unity. Apple, Google and Unity also handle some information for their own payment, security and legal purposes under their own notices:
4. Website visits and messages
This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, account system or contact form. Fonts and images are hosted with the site. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. It processes network information such as your IP address, requested page, request time, browser or device information and security events to deliver the site and prevent abuse. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies if a protective feature requires them. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, including attachments or purchase-support details. Our email and routing providers process that correspondence to deliver and store it. Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card details or unnecessary information about a child.
5. Why information is used and who handles it
Where the GDPR applies to processing for which we are the controller, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) to deliver purchased content, check ownership and provide purchase-related support.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to answer general enquiries, protect the website, prevent fraud and resolve disputes, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) when records must be kept or a lawful request must be answered.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) where required for optional processing. This policy itself is not a request for consent.
Relevant information is handled by the service providers described above, or disclosed to authorities or professional advisers when legally required or necessary to protect rights. Providers acting on our behalf must protect the information under applicable data-protection obligations. We do not build advertising profiles or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about players.
We are based in the United States. We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, including outside the European Economic Area. Where we arrange a restricted transfer, applicable safeguards are required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data; the provider notices also explain their international processing.
6. Retention, deletion and security
- Local game data: remains on your device until you clear the app's data or remove the app, subject to platform backups. Deleting it can erase progress. A valid store purchase may be restored separately.
- Support correspondence: retained while needed to answer your enquiry and handle follow-up, and longer only where necessary for legal recordkeeping or a dispute.
- Purchase records: retained where necessary to establish ownership, restore content, address refunds and comply with legal duties. Uninstalling the game does not delete the store's transaction records.
- Provider records: hosting, purchasing and security records follow the relevant service's retention rules. Unity states that IAP service logs are kept for 90 days and certain order records remain until deletion is requested, subject to applicable obligations.
We limit access to information to what is needed for these purposes and use encrypted website connections. Store and service communications use their security protections. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
To request deletion of information we hold, email the privacy contact. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Information that must lawfully be retained will be restricted to that purpose, and we will explain any applicable exception.
7. Children and families
The game is intended to be approachable for younger players as well as adults. It does not ask children to create an account, submit a profile, chat or view advertisements. Parents and guardians should supervise store purchases and contact us themselves if support is needed for a child.
Purchase and device information can still be personal data. Where processing of a child's data requires parental consent or additional protection, those requirements apply before that processing takes place. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the necessary permission, contact us so we can investigate, remove information where required and involve the relevant provider.
A store's content rating describes age suitability; it does not replace parental purchase controls or privacy protections.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to contact@wrongbear.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, normally one month where the GDPR applies. You do not need a Wrong Bear account. We cannot directly erase records held independently by Apple or Google, but can direct you to their privacy channels.
You may complain to the data-protection authority or regulator competent under applicable law, including a supervisory authority in the European Economic Area where the GDPR applies. You can also manage device backups, remove local game data and use your store account's privacy and purchase controls.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the game's features or data practices change and show the new date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice before new processing begins. Any required consent will be requested separately.
